Jilin Animation Institute was founded in June, 2000. It was admitted to be “Independent Undergraduate-level Private College” by Ministry of Education in China in 2008. At present, it has thirteen branch schools: School of Animation Art, School of Animation Industry, School of Comics, School of Game, School of Design and Product, School of Film, School of Film Technology, School of Virtual Reality, School of Creative Industry, School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, School of Civil Aviation etc. , among which animation ranks first among countries in this major. Jilin Animation Institute has about 12,000 current students now. The employment rate of graduates keeps over 90%. In 2015, it has been evaluated as top 50 universities of “Employment Demonstration College” by Ministry of Education.
