Fondazione Dravelli

Fondazione Dravelli is a foundation in Moncalieri, near Turin, Italy, established in 2005 to preserve and continue the community-association tradition of the Circolo Mario Dravelli, founded in 1954 as the Casa del Popolo Aurora by workers from Turin's major factories. Its work centres on the reception and integration of migrants and refugees, training, social housing and social and cultural promotion, and it runs the small multipurpose Teatro Dravelli for music, theatre, dance, workshops, screenings and exhibitions. In 2016-2017 it was the lead partner of BORDERSCAPES, an INTERREG V-A France-Italy (ALCOTRA) project of artworks and events along the French-Italian border between Piedmont and Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur.
