Airelles Vidéo
About
Airelles Vidéo is an associative film-making workshop in Aix-en-Provence, France, founded in 1980, which is also a centre for audiovisual and multimedia training. It grew out of a women's video group formed in 1978 within the feminist association Aire-Elles. It makes community-based films together with local groups and institutions, in fields such as rural development, neighbourhood social development, research and youth prevention, and runs workshops and training for schools, universities, companies and associations; since 2010 the production and distribution of its documentaries and short films have been handled by the company Airelles Production. In 2016-2017 it was the French partner of BORDERSCAPES, an INTERREG V-A France-Italy (ALCOTRA) project of artworks and events along the French-Italian border.
