About
Nutprodukcia was founded by three producers – Jakub Viktorín, Tomáš Hrubý, and Pavla Janoušková Kubečková in 2015. Since its founding, the company has focused on cooperation with Slovak filmmakers and international co-productions. The company recently completed the film Victim (2022) by Michal Blaško, which was part of the program of prestigious festivals such as Venice, Toronto or Busan or the film By Sharp Knife (2019), which received 8 nominations for the national awards Sun in the Net and was awarded for Best Director at the Cottbus IFF. Nutprodukcia co-produced Diana Cam Van Nguyen's short film Love Dad (2021), which, in addition to numerous awards from various festivals, received a nomination from the European Film Academy in the Best Short Film category, or Agnieszka Holland's film Spoor (2017), which won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale.
