About
Misfit Films is an independent, Montreal-based production company focused on the development and production of both English and French female-driven genre films and TV series. Misfit Films works primarily with female creative talent both in front of and behind the camera. The company opened its doors in 2022 and its projects are funded by Telefilm Canada, Société de développement des entreprises culturelles (SODEC), the Harold Greenberg Fund, Bell Media’s Crave, the Canada Film Centre, and the Canada Council for the Arts. Owned by Christina Saliba, a development executive and producer with over seven years of experience, and a recent alum of the Norman Jewison’s Film Program Producers’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre.
