About
A.P.E is an innovative arts production house that works peripatetically, to make ambitious work with artists, writers and others – presented internationally in collaboration with institutions. Founded in 2010 by artist Keren Cytter and curators Maaike Gouwenberg and Kathy Noble, to provide alternative production support for artists, placing emphasis on experimentation – outside the confines of the museum/gallery systems. A.P.E produces solo and collaborative works across all artistic platforms, including performances, publications, events and exhibitions, and has worked with 113 artists. A.P.E is based in New York, London and Rotterdam.
