About
Sweet George Films is co-founded by Jason Aita and Paul Shkordoff. Previous works include Grove (2019), Benjamin, Benny, Ben (2020) which had its world premiere In Competition at the 73rd Cannes Film Festival, and Twelve Hours (2021) which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Their forthcoming feature film, Import, follows an American basketball player whose life descends into free fall when he’s unexpectedly cut from his Serbian team. The film was developed through the 2022 Torino ScriptLab.
