KASK & Conservatorium
About
The Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) and the Royal Conservatory make up the Ghent University College School of Art. The school brings together talented and motivated students with outstanding teachers, active artists, designers and theorists in the field of art and design from all over the world. The school's mission statement defines its main objectives: the development of art, education and research in an international perspective.
The diverse range of art disciplines at KASK and the Conservatory, makes for a combined inspiring and relatively open curriculum. As interdisciplinarity in the arts becomes increasingly important, there is room for cross-pollination in our curriculum. In addition, students will be presented with some of the many theoretical and artistic research projects our faculty members are engaged in.
