About

Transient Pictures is a full service documentary production company founded by Emmy Award-winning filmmakers Landon Van Soest and Jeremy S. Levine. Our team shares a passion for telling highly authentic, emotionally gripping stories and a mission of producing innovative, socially charged documentary films, commercials, and branded content. We have produced docu-style commercials for major brands like Facebook, Ben & Jerry’s, and Toyota and promotional videos for non-profits like UNICEF, the Lincoln Center, and Covenant House. Our team specializes in directing authentic performances from real people—from customers to CEOs—and bringing your brand’s story to life through riveting stories. Our feature films have screened at major film festivals around the world, broadcast in seven countries, and streamed on Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. They’ve been recognized with awards from organizations like the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Cinema Eye Honors, and the Sundance Institute and appeared in the Top 10 lists of publications like Entertainment Weekly and People Magazine. As founders of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective, Jeremy and Landon are fixtures in the vibrant New York City filmmaking community and work with some of the brightest talent the city has to offer.
