About
Adok Films is a Swiss production and distribution company created in August 2014 by José-Michel Buhler, founder and director for 20 years of the distribution company Agora Films. He was also the head of the Film Education Department at HEAD (Haute Ecole d'Art et de Design – Genève) for 10 years. In 2017, Emilie Moor joined the company.
Adok Films is mainly dedicated to the production of feature films, documentaries and fiction, with particular attention paid to the hybridization of genres, films that place the question of their relationship to reality at the heart of their concerns.
Adok Films distributes the films it produces or co-produces. It also acquires the cinema, television, video/DVD and VOD rights to Swiss, European and other arthouse films.
