About
The Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography was a Russian federal executive body responsible for state property management and public services in culture and cinematography. Its remit was defined by Government Resolution No. 291 of 17 June 2004. The agency supported animation production and was abolished by Presidential Decree No. 724 of 12 May 2008, which transferred its functions to the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
