Fondation vaudoise pour le cinéma
About
Fondation vaudoise pour le cinéma was a film-support foundation in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It provided financial support for film production and presented supported short films to audiences through programmes such as Lausanne’s Nuit du Court. Its work also included examining the transition of the canton’s cinemas to digital projection. In 2011, its foundation board decided on dissolution as film-support activities moved to the newly established Fondation romande pour le cinéma, known as Cinéforom. It remains identified under its historical name in the credits of films it supported.
