Many independent and student films are truly amazing! But these films rarely get the attention they deserve.

To fix this we've created Vurchel. Here we are collecting all the independent cinema in one convenient place, where you can watch most of the films for free.

Most films are available online only 2-3 years after they have screened at festivals. It can be tough to track them down, but Vurchel makes it easy! Simply press the heart icon next to a film title, and we'll send you an email notification as soon as that film is available for online streaming!

The Western Access Video Excellence (WAVE) Awards are presented by the Alliance for Community Media West Region. The awards recognize excellence in community media programming in the ACM West Region consisting of Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico. Join us for our awards ceremony on Friday, February 25, 2022 at the San Jose Holiday Inn Silicon Valley.
