Tree City Film Festival

Located in Sylvania, Ohio, the Tree City Film Festival was started in 2013. Since then, it has been the festival's aim to support and encourage the art of filmmaking, educate and entertain our community, and to develop a committed and cultivated audience. In 2015, the Tree City Film Festival screened nearly 6.5 hours of entertainment and premiered 31 original movies created by filmmakers participating in the 50-Hour Challenge and the Shorties U workshop. Nearly 500 audience members during a three-day event that took place in Sylvania's Historic Train Barn "Theater." Beginning in 2016, the Tree City Film Festival will welcome films from across the country. By including a broad range of short independent films, the Tree City Film Festival hopes to continue it's mission of cerebrating the art of filmmaking. It promises to be an awesome experience for independent filmmakers, movie lovers, and young people alike.
