What Sets Us Apart? First, our independent filmmaker and music artist slant. Competition for recognition and exposure for independent talent is fierce. TVIFF was established and has remained for 17 years to be a true advocate and accessible home for independent film and music artists. We have built a genuine networking hub for filmmakers and music artists and for industry people to mingle, network, party and do business in an awesome, accessible, unpretentious and most relaxing atmosphere of Southern California’s premiere wine country, Temecula. Another is our eclectic Film and Music Programming. TVIFF has always celebrated artistic expression and welcomed a diversity of visions, sounds and viewpoints, with cinematic and music excellence as the overriding principle guiding our selection of films, music artists and our awards gala honorees. We do not cater to one particular genre. So long as the film tells a good story and the music tugs at the heart of our audience, we are in. We offer in the best way possible a little something of everything for everybody. The Film Program Since 1995, the festival has screened over 1,500 films from 20+ countries. Programming TVIFF has been about creativity, diversity and excellence. Whether its a documentary about the world’s fascination with the Honey Boo Boos of the world or a short comedy about seniors and internet dating or learning to speak Russian or a feature film on human trafficking, the films screened at TVIFF represent how diverse, funny, terrifying and incredible our world is, was and/or has become.
