Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival

The VIMFF provides outdoor communities around the world with international mountain film screenings, live multimedia presentations, photo exhibitions, workshops, seminars and other special events. We offer in person shows as well as virtual streaming events, and our World Tour travelling shows featuring award winning films. Driven by a passion for film, culture and the outdoors, we seek to advance the appreciation of films and film-making while inspiring, informing and educating the public in these areas. The VIMFF runs two separate film submission drives for our main events - our Fall Series (November) and our Main Festival (February). VIMFF 2022 - February 25th - March 5th Submissions are now open until November 30st 2021 for our next festival event - the 2022 VIMFF Festival. VIMFF 2022 will run from February 25th –March 5th 2022. It will be a hybrid festival of in person events at theatres across Vancouver and virtual programs offered online for streaming. All films selected will compete for our Annual Film Awards and will also enjoy a share of the revenues from our virtual programming. Preference will be given to those films not already available online for free.
