Verve Dance Film Festival

The Verve Dance Film Festival (VDFF) is centered around EDUCATION & OPPORTUNITY!! We are a launching-pad for dance filmmakers and directors of all levels & backgrounds. EDUCATION // Our panel of judges (...all experts in their various fields of film, editing, dance, choreography, etc...) provide our finalists with personalized and professional feedback, both written and verbal, to assist our participants in learning, growing, and improving as artists. (WE BELIEVE THIS TO BE THE MOST VALUABLE ASPECT OF OUR FESTIVAL!!) OPPORTUNITY // We give filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their works on a large theater screen, in front of an audience of up to 350 dance and film enthusiasts. We also provide networking opportunities between dancers, choreographers, photographers, filmmakers, editors, etc. (VDFF is a great place to connect with and meet new artists!) HIGHLIGHTS // Last year (season #1) VDFF was honored to showcase 21 independent films, by 21 different filmmakers, with 7 countries represented! We invite you to participate! Our first festival was INCREDIBLE last year, and it's only going up from here!
