BMCC Film Festival Spring 2020

RED CARPET: 4:00 p.m. SHOWTIME: 5:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. Introduction/Competitive Films: 5:00pm to 7:25 pm(5:00 - 5:25 introduction) (intermission), should be a total of 36 films, intermission shall be 15 minutes Introduction/Non-competitive Films: 7:40 pm to 9:15 pm, should be 6-8 films at least MVRP Tribute/Award Ceremony: 9:25 to 9:50 pm This festival showcases the short films of CUNY students on the big screen through a 4K projector, before an audience of hundreds of people and a panel of industry professionals. Films submitted by BMCC students particularly are eligible to win awards including Best Screenplay, Best Documentary, and Best Narrative Film. The festival takes place at BMCC's Theatre 1, which is also home to the prestigious TriBeCa Film Festival.
