Made Here Film Festival

Thanks to the success in of the inaugural Made Here Film Festival in May 2021, we have confirmed it as an annual event. 2022 will see an in person festival April, 22-24, 2022. If you wish to stay up to date, please subscribe to our e-newsletter and mark yourself as "filmmaker". All filmmakers residing in the eligible states may apply: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Northern NY State, Vermont, Québec. All styles of films and lengths (above 3 minutes) are accepted. The regional focus does not mean that the subject of the films needs to be regional. It is the filmmakers themselves that we wish to celebrate and promote. The festival will include opportunities for group chats for filmmakers to meet others, in the hope that new alliances may be formed. MHFF will be free to the public but donations will be encouraged. VTIFF guarantees to share a percentage of the donation income with the filmmakers. VTIFF will also share viewing data with the filmmakers. VTIFF reserves the right to present it as a virtual event on its secure online platform. By submitting your film you agree for your film to be broadcast on Vermont PBS's Made Here strand, subject to your agreeing terms.
