Walkerville Film Festival

The Walkerville Film Festival taking place June 14-16, 2018 is produced by a group of individuals who deeply support the entertainment industry and young creative individuals. Our mission is to present an annual celebration of cinema as a means to transform the way people see the world. We’re looking for films that tell strong stories, regardless of the genre – whether they make you question your own values, move you in some mysterious way, or leave you laughing out loud. It is our goal to showcase students work along side of international pieces of art. Located just across the water from Detroit, Michigan this is an iconic area for the cinema industry and creative professionals. Each Spring, we hoist the curtains on a cinematic feast that celebrates the power of film. The menu consists of more than 50 films from 20+ countries, ranging from short to feature-length, dramatic to documentary, comedy to gut-wrenching and studio to independent.
