The Waverly Community House is pleased to announce it will hold the Northeast Pennsylvania Film Festival April 2 and 3rd, 2022 at The Ritz Theater, in Scranton, Pa. with a preview event on Friday April 1, 2022 in the Waverly Community House auditorium. Dedicated to promoting emerging and independent filmmakers, the festival accepts films from around the world. The two day festival correspondingly promotes cultural awareness and appreciation of film as an art form by exposing audiences to unique and original cinema. Festival goers will also have to opportunity to events, discussions and special previews Now in its fifth year, the Festival’s growing reputation is built on a commitment to offering the region access to new and independently produced films. The festival opened for submissions on June 1, 2022.
