West End Film Festival (WEFF)

We're Back! The much-loved West End Film Festival is staging a covid comeback after skipping 2020's event. An energetic festival catering to Brisbane's most eclectic and artistically driven audiences, WEFF offers local Australian filmmakers an opportunity to showcase their short films for Brisbane audiences. Over three days we'll be screening your masterpiece to a packed out audience in collaboration with, for the first time, Metro Arts in West End. So, get ready to mingle with some of Australia's most exciting emerging film makers and the chance to win one of many prizes. With a significantly shorter timeframe for production, we'll be accepting short films, music videos and animations 15 minutes and under from 1 June until 15 July 2021. We are open to films made in Australia only.
