10 Minute Film Festival

Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning is excited to announce "10 Minute Film Festival"! All NYC-based filmmakers (priority to Queens-based artists of color) can submit a film of up to 10 minutes in length. This year's theme is identity! A three-member jury will pick 15 films that will be screened live at Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning, awarding a first place ($500) and second place prize ($300); we’ll have an audience pick ($300) as well. This in person event will feature screenings of each short film, followed by a brief live Q&A with the filmmakers. Finally, award winners and prizes will be announced at the end.
