29 Palms Military Film Festival Screenplay Contest

Celebrating the screenplay writer as the heart of the collaborative filmmaking process, The 29 Palms Screenplay Contest recognizes emerging military-themed screenplays. The international competition gives writers the opportunity to have their scripts read by a prestigious jury, receive industry recognition and possibly win an all expenses paid, month long residency in Twentynine Palms, Ca., which includes a festival sponsored reception honoring the winner of The 29 Palms Screenplay Contest with media coverage. Screenplays entering the competition must be submitted no later than Friday 19 February. Five shortlisted writers will be offered a 2-night hotel stay (Friday 13 and Saturday 14 May) in Twentynine Palms and VIP access to the screenings and all sidebar events.
