99 is a new kind of documentary film festival: both online and in real life.
It is a free and not-for-profit video platform streaming documentaries in 7 languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Portuguese, German and Italian) + a series of live screenings in different cities where our languages are spoken.
Our objective is to democratize documentaries thanks to multilingualism and to help filmmakers get wider audiences and more impact.

99.media es una plataforma que difunde gratuitamente documentales subtitulados en 7 idiomas. Aquí encontrará historias de todos los lugares del mundo y películas con un mensaje universal, para conocer mejor el mundo que le rodea.
Nuestra dinámica es similar a la de un festival. Los realizadores nos envían sus documentales para darles una mayor difusión. Si estas películas corresponden a nuestra línea editorial las subtitulamos en 7 idiomas. Cada película seleccionada obtiene una importante difusión que abarca más de la mitad del planeta.
Además, organizamos proyecciones de las películas seleccionadas en locales específicos en todo el mundo. Así, cada película constituye un evento colectivo que fomenta el diálogo y la cohesión social.
Nuestro objetivo es hacer llegar el documental al mayor público posible y difundir esas historias que pasarían inadvertidas, y que son cosas que le ocurren al 99% de la humanidad.
