22nd AAWIC Film Festival Special Online Edition African American Women In Cinema is pleased to announce a special online edition of the film festival. AAWIC is seeking films and webisodes that have been Written, or Directed or Produced by women of color. The African American Women in Cinema Film Festival is one of the largest female film events in the country. Every year, the AAWICFF shines its luminous spotlight onto ambitious women filmmakers from all over the country. Since 1998, the AAWICFF has premiered a number of distinctive films which include: SEASONS OF LOVE, Executive Produced by TARAJI P.HENSON, SINNERS WANTED starring, Traci Braxton, Clifton Powell, Laman Rucker, Roland Martin and special appearance by Gospel Sensation, Tasha Cobbs Leonard and WHAT DEATH LEAVES BEHIND, Produced by Rachel Ofori, starting Christopher Mann.
