Afragola International Film Festival of Architecture and Design - Al di là della visione -

The Al di là della Visione Festival comprises the following: International Documentary Film Competition, International Animation Film Competition, retrospectives, workshops, encounters, themed areas of focus, special events. Directors, artists, producers, distributors, galleristas, universities and other institutions are invited to submit documentary and animation films with the following brief: "to create, gift, seek or discover beauty in the periphery/in the outskirts" for participation in the selection for the competition section of the first year of the Festival to be held from 1 to 3 December 2021 in Afragola. Reflections on the influence of architecture, urban planning and design aesthetics on real life, through documentary and animation film screenings, encounters, debates, workshops and guided tours. The festival is organised by Gabbianella Club – with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage (General Directorate for Cinema). The Directors and the Selection Committee will make selections from submitted works on the basis of their artistic merit and relevance to the specified themes. Finally, an expert jury made up of personalities from the cinema, theatre, architecture, design and urban planning will analyse, select and award the Best Documentary Film and the Best Animation Film. The mission of Al di là della visione is to guide young people towards a greater awareness of beauty through activities for cultural and spiritual enrichment, which, it is hoped, will stimulate their sense of care and nurturing towards their own area.
