International Animation Festival AJAYU - Peru

The 6th Ajayu International Animation Festival is a cultural activity organized by Sapa Inti Estudios and the Ajayu Cinematographic Association, which, despite the pandemic situation that our country and the world is going through, this year will carry out its edition again virtually in strict respect of the health and safety measures proposed by the Peruvian state. This event, which in turn hosts different cultural activities, has positioned itself throughout its trajectory in these years uninterruptedly becoming a transcendental activity for the Animation industry in our country. This year with its sixth edition, to be held from September 29 to October 2, 2021, the commitment to show the artistic expression of animation is renewed, guiding its thematic axis on the native woman and her role in different areas, reflected in animated productions and ancestral cultural events. In this festival, as usual, artists from the animated audiovisual field and other disciplines will participate, coming from the Puno region, Peru and various countries around the world, who through their expression will make this virtual edition a contemporary Andean experience. ------------------------------------------------------------- El 6° Festival Internacional de Animación Ajayu, es una actividad cultural organizada por Sapa Inti Estudios y la Asociación Cinematográfica Ajayu que, pese a la coyuntura de pandemia que atraviesa nuestro país y el mundo, este año volverá a realizar su edición de manera virtual, en estricto respeto de las medidas de salud y seguridad propuestas por el estado peruano. Este evento que a su vez acoge diferentes actividades culturales, se ha posicionado a través de su trayectoria en estos años de forma ininterrumpida convirtiéndose en una actividad trascendental para la industria de Animación en nuestro país. Este año con su sexta edición, a realizarse del 29 de setiembre al 02 de octubre del 2021, se renueva el compromiso de mostrar la expresión artística de la animación, guiando su eje temático en la mujer originaria y su rol en diferentes ámbitos, plasmado en las producciones animadas y las manifestaciones culturales ancestrales. En este festival, como es usual, participarán artistas del ámbito audiovisual animado y de otras disciplinas, procedentes de la región Puno, el Perú y varios países del mundo, quienes mediante su expresión harán de esta edición virtual una experiencia andina contemporánea.
