Almaty Film Festival

The Almaty Film Festival ("AFF") is organized by Astana Film Fund by the order and with the support of Almaty Government (Kazakhstan). AFF aims to become of the major film festivals in the region bringing together multi-polar and multicultural world of the cinema. It carries not only an important cultural mission, but also one of peace-making and integration, by uniting filmmakers of different countries and by promoting fruitful future cooperation. Film submissions for the 1st edition of AFF, running from September 15-19, 2018 in Almaty, are now open. If you wish to have your film considered for AFF 2018 please read carefully and accept the Rules and Regulations before submitting your film. Please note AFF is only accepting submissions for in competition section (feature films), however all other sections in AFF's Official Programme are solely curated by AFF's programming team.
