WHILE NEW YORK THEATERS ARE CLOSED, WE WILL BE RUNNING WEEKLY ONLINE SCREENINGS & ONLINE Q&A'S UNTIL THE HEALTH EMERGENCY IS OVER. FILMS SCREENED ONLINE DURING THIS PERIOD WILL ALSO BE SCHEDULED FOR A LIVE THEATRICAL SCREENING ONCE NEW YORK THEATERS ARE ALLOWED TO OPEN. AltFest is New York's only locally programmed Gay and Lesbian film festival. We screen special programs quarterly and a NY Pride (month long) festival each year. We screen at the historic arthouse cinema Anthology Film Archives in the Lower East Side. We screen in association with NewFilmmakers NY and submissions to that festival are considered to be part of AltFest, Please do not double submit.
