Eleven sections cover fiction, animation, experimental film, documentary, music videos, film-school work, animation for children, dance films, stories about parents and children, and shorts by authors from Emilia-Romagna. Alongside the films run the Paparazzo photography competition, founded in 2015, and the Premio Burdlaz for debut features by directors under 40 with Fellinian influences. The festival dates back to 2008 and is organised by the SMArt Academy association in Rimini; it is a member of AFIC, the association of Italian film festivals.
