AmiCorti International Film Festival

AmiCorti Film Festival is an international film festival held in i Peveragno in the Province of Cuneo, Italy every June. AmiCorti is one of the most well-known short film festivals, moreover, it deals with the awarding of feature films, animated short films and video clips Italy. It was founded in 2018 by film critic and video editing Ntrita Rossi. Since its origins, four years ago, the festival has been known internationally as one of the most established events devoted to new cinema. Thanks to its commitment to the support of independent filmmaking and personal vision, and for its numerous and in depth retrospectives, AmiCorti has become a point of reference for both emerging and established filmmakers all over the world. The sections of the competition and programming are curated by Ntrita Rossi and Luigi Di Fiore. The official conductors are: Karin Piffer and Savino Zaba. President of the short film jury "AmiCorti" is the director and screenwriter 2 Academy Awards, Paul Haggis. President of the Jury of the feature film “AmiFilm” is the well-known Italian director Giacomo Battiato. President of the jury of the animated short "PeveCorto / AmiAnimation" is the director of the Turin Piedmont Film Commission, Paolo Manera. The “AmiClip” video clip jury is the Suzuki Institute. The New section of "AmiCorti Live" opens this year, the President of this section is the Artistic Director of Thessaloniki Film Festival, Orestis Andreadakis. Many producers choose this occasion to launch their latest works and to sell the exploitation rights to distributors that the Festival welcomes from all over the world. In 2022, the Amicorti International Film Festival celebrates its 4th year which will be held from 13 to 18 June. Even if the years are not many, Amicorti has shown a strong credibility in the film industry. The Amicorti International Film Festival stands out in the world of cinema with the symbol of the Strawberry fruit wrapped in film. This beautiful and tasty fruit represents the municipality of Peveragno, as it is its precious product that grows in its lands.
