A huge issue in story telling through film, is how we include animals in the story. Animals are all around us, all the time. How do you represent them in the story? Are they represented? A good filmmaker will find ways to include the living universe that surrounds the world people live in every day. It makes the stories more authentic.
We love movies, and animals, and people, and most of all, We love them all together! We even made a little welcome movie for you here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCVAnZ5pHis
AniFab submission fees are exactly the same every deadline. The advantage for submitting early is that your chances of being selected for a monthly award greatly increases at the beginning of the season when fewer filmmakers are submitting. AniFab gives your movie more ways to be seen, and to win. MONTHLY! Win awards, win reviews, and win an audience. Submit your film for these opportunities:
- To be selected and considered for a monthly award - see below (
- To be selected and considered for our annual award at the live festival at the end of the year in Austin, Texas
- To be accepted into the benefactors showcase with Show & Tell online in December
We love movies so much, we're going to select winners every month that get to have their own private judging audience and compete for awards and to appear in the live / online hybrid festival in November, 2021 and a special December 2021 showcase benefit.
You can win up to 4 times by submitting to AniFab. Once being selected, once winning a monthly award, once winning the year-long award in November (we hope to be live-in-person by then - possibly drive in / theater hybrid in Austin, Texas), and once again when you are invited to the December online benefit series to help raise funds for animals in need.
