Anima means “soul”, Tiba means “a lot of”. Thus, our ANIMATIBA event presents itself as a space-time of great energy, of movement, of development. These souls came from lovers of the moving image, amateurs, researchers and profissional filmmakers that shows or see films and discuss at ANIMATIBA. The word ANIMATIBA also reveals its links with Curitiba, the "ecological city" of Brazil.
