ARABIAN SIGHTS FILM FESTIVAL OCTOBER 18 – 27, 2019 The Arabian Sights Film Festival highlights the best in contemporary Arab cinema each year in Washington, DC bringing narrative features, documentaries and shorts to thousands of people. We seek films made by Arab, Arab American, and international directors highlighting Arab themes. All films must be Washington, DC metropolitan area premieres. Inaugurated in January 1996, Arabian Sights is the longest running festival of its kind in the U.S. and has grown to become a widely anticipated, attended and respected event in Washington, DC and is favorably highlighted in the media. The Arabian Sights Film Festival is presented by the Washington, DC International Film Festival.
