Asian Food and Film

We are dedicated to screening the best independent films made by Asian filmmakers to broad audiences across Australasia. Asian Food and Film (AFF) places high quality independent films in front of fans and curators of Asian cuisine and creative content. Not only does our festival’s business model draw in crowds by tempting audiences' taste buds, it is serious about raising awareness about Asian content by nurturing content creators from under-represented groups such as Asian minorities in western communities. Judged by award winning actors, directors, writers and producers, this festival aims to become known for its quality curation of Asian content, and its ability to elevate the status of raw and undiscovered talent to transnational audiences.
