BAMkids Film Festival 2021: Young Filmmakers Showcase Program Calling all young filmmakers! Submit a film for the Young Filmmakers Showcase at BAMkids Film Festival 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for young people—ages 13 or younger— to share their cinematic creativity with a wide and welcoming community of film lovers This is a non-competitive call for short films (3 minutes or less) created by and for younger audiences. A selection of entries that capture the broadest range of stories, themes, and styles will be included on our BAMkids Film Festival webpage for everyone to enjoy. The BAMkids Film Festival returns as an all-virtual festival running from February 20th to 28th, 2021. This year’s impressive lineup, tailored for children ages 3—11, showcases films from countries around the world. This virtual festival will includes short film programs curated by the Northwest Film Forum and Melbourne International Animation Festival, featuring an array of animated animals, adventures, and magical journeys from around the world suitable for children ages 3—5, 6—8, and 9+.
