Founded by filmmaker Cressandra Thibodeaux, the Bechdel Film Festival is dedicated to supporting and promoting female filmmakers. The festival will take place, February 11-13, 2022 in Houston, Texas. In addition to showcasing films from around the globe, the festival includes, panel discussions, talk-backs, an opening night reception and much more. Furthermore, there will be a Bechdel Test Film Award given to one of the films at the festival. Films are eligible if women are in two or more of the following positions: director, writer, producer, director of photography, editor, or composer.
