Our commitment is to present the best of international and German cinema and create transformational experiences for film lovers, seekers, and creators of all ages and backgrounds. Berlin Film Week takes place both in- and outdoors at the Cineplex cinema in the Neukölln Arcaden and at Freiluftkino Kreuzberg. Our festival wouldn't be complete without socializing events at Klunkerkranich Rooftop, the rooftop bar above our partner cinema. Located on top of the parking garage at Neukölln Arcaden, this spacious terrace comes with green outdoor areas, a panoramic view of Berlin offering readings, concerts, DJ sets, and much more. Definitely an eventful place where we will meet after the screenings! Those who have been honored at our 2020 festival include actress Paz de la Huerta (Puppy Love) and directors such as Kelly Reichardt (First Cow), Christos Nikou (Apples), Dea Kulumbegashvili (Beginning), Michael Maxxis (Puppy Love), Harpo and Lenny Guit (Mother Schmuckers) and many more. We will be inviting both established and emerging filmmakers at Berlin Film Week and hope to welcome you in June 2022!
