Scream but not Cry is a screening that aims to move the viewer from a state inaction to action. It has been created as a response to feelings of hopelessness, helplessness, frustration, and isolation derived from the current social and political climate. We are seeking work that explores these feelings in an attempt to actively combat them. We are seeking any form of social or political activism expressed through film and\u002For video. Submissions must be under 15 minutes in length and all genres are accepted. Work can be traditional or experimental and can be created in any film\u002Fvideo medium (VHS, Super 8, DSLR, etc.). Multiple submissions are accepted. DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: August 17th, 2016 We ask that applicants include in their submissions: -title of the piece -run time -year the work was completed -a data DVD or online link to view the piece (preferred) Please include in your submission a $5 US submission fee (please attach screenshot of paypal receipt to the submission).
