BWS Film Festival Presents: Made in LA, a High School film festival sponsored by Brentwood School. The festival will consist of a reception, followed by notable speakers from the film industry, and ending with a roughly 90 minute screening of high school shorts created by Los Angeles high school students. There will be 2 prize winners from the selected films announced on the day of the festival! BFF gives the opportunity for student filmmakers all throughout Los Angeles to display and share their work, as well as network with other future filmmakers. The films are chosen by a panel of students, teachers and current industry who watch every entry and select the finalists. Brentwood School is an independent K-12 coed day school founded in 1972. It has two campuses located four blocks apart in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California, United States. The festival was created by 12th Graders from the Film Program: Jacque Rabie, Lorenzo Ortiz, Austin Jones, and Cameron Woodle. Overseen by Mr. Preskill, the film professor.
