"Camera Action" Film Critics Festival

POLISH VERSION BELOW. __________________________________________________________________________ "Camera Action" Film Critics Festival has been paying attention to trends in cinema since the first edition, it shows the way for future film critics, it reacts to the changing film industry, inviting viewers to discussions. An integral part of the Festival is the Competition of Short Films addressed to filmmakers. Films are evaluated in two categories: Best Short (Live Action, Documentary, Experimental) and Best Short (Animated). The aim of the competition is to show the impact of knowledge of the wide understood of film theory on artistic creativity, knowledge of the context, language and history of the film, the ability to navigate in the field of audiovisual art, conscious use of film references allow you to look at the film in an original way and make it in an interesting form. __________________________________________________________________________ Festiwal Krytyków Sztuki Filmowej Kamera Akcja od pierwszej edycji zwraca uwagę na trendy w kinematografii, wskazuje drogę przyszłym krytykom filmowym, reaguje na zmieniającą się branżę, zapraszając widzów do gorących dyskusji. Integralną częścią Festiwalu jest Konkurs Etiud i Animacji skierowany do twórców filmowych. Filmy (tj. etiudy i animacje) oceniane są w dwóch kategoriach: Najlepsza Etiuda “Live Action” (film fabularny, dokumentalny, eksperyment) i Najlepsza Animacja. Konkurs ma na celu ukazanie wpływu wiedzy z zakresu szeroko rozumianej teorii filmu na twórczość artystyczną. Znajomość kontekstów, języka i historii filmu, umiejętność poruszania się w obszarze sztuki audiowizualnej, świadome wykorzystanie odniesień filmowych pozwalają w oryginalny sposób spojrzeć na film i realizować go w interesującej formie.
