In 2020, CCCL Film Festival presented the most vibrant and exciting climate change short films of which 90% are produced by youth aged 25 and younger. The festival also hosted conversations and a live performance from a Keren tribe artist Dr. Suwichan Patanapaiwan and a Thai singer Hugo Chakrabongse Levy. The festival awarded its grand prizes to three outstanding short films. Changing Climate, Changing Lives (CCCL) Film Festival has continued our mission to be a platform for youths and filmmakers to tell climate change stories and amplify their creativities and views on the climate crisis. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak occurring in Thailand, the 2nd edition of CCCL Film Festival postponed its annual festival to take place on February 19th, 2022 at the Alliance Française Bangkok. The festival will celebrate climate change stories and filmmakers from Thailand and other Asian countries. As we continue following guidelines from Thailand's health agencies, the festival is also ready to adapt to an online screening depending on the pandemic situation. Filmmakers based in Asia are invited to submit fiction, documentary, experimental, and animated short films. Only films produced by filmmakers based in Thailand are eligible for the short film competition, awarding three prizes in both the documentary category and the non-documentary category. ___________________________________________________ เทศกาลหนังสั้นโลกป่วย เราต้องเปลี่ยน (CCCL Film Festival) ขยายเวลาเปิดรับผลงานหนังสั้นที่มีประเด็นเกี่ยวข้องกับการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ ภายใต้หัวข้อ “สานสันติสู่ธรรมชาติ (Making Peace with Nature)” จากเดิมปลายเดือนกันยายนเป็นวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม 2564 ผลงานที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกจะได้จัดแสดงในเทศกาลหนังสั้นวันที่ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 ที่สมาคมฝรั่งเศสกรุงเทพ และได้รับพิจารณาชิงเงินรางวัลมูลค่ารวม 190,000 บาท โดยในปีนี้เทศกาลแบ่งการประกวดหนังสั้นออกเป็น 2 สาขา ได้แก่ หนังสารคดี (documentary) และ หนังสั้นประเภทอื่น ๆ (non-documentary) ผู้ที่สนใจสามารถส่งหนังสั้นความยาวไม่เกิน 15 นาที ได้ตั้งแต่วันนี้จนถึงวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม 2564 เทศกาลหนังสั้นโลกป่วย เราต้องเปลี่ยน (CCCL Film Festival) เป็นเทศกาลหนังสั้นเกี่ยวกับปัญหาวิกฤติโลกร้อนแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย เทศกาลมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับเยาวชนและชุมชนในประเทศไทยได้ร่วมสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะผ่านสื่อหนังสั้นที่บอกเล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับผลกระทบจากวิกฤติโลกร้อนต่อชีวิตและชุมชน แนวทางการแก้ไข การรับมือ และนวัตกรรมใหม่ ๆ เพื่อมุ่งสร้างความตระหนักรู้และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้สังคมมีส่วนร่วมในการแก้ไขปัญหาและรับมือต่อวิกฤติโลกร้อน ในปี 2563 เทศกาลจัดฉายหนังสั้นไทยจํานวน 13 เรื่อง อีกทั้งจัดการแสดงดนตรีโดยศิลปิน ดร.สุวิชาน พัฒนาไพรวัลย์ และคุณฮิวโก้ จุลจักร จักรพงษ์ และงานสนทนาเชิงวิชาการเก่ียวกับวิกฤติโลกร้อน ผู้สมัครสามารถส่งหนังสั้นเข้าเทศกาลโดยไม่เสียค่าธรรมเนียมได้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2564 จนถึงวันที่ 17 ธันวาคม 2564 ทางเว็บไซต์ FilmFreeway ซึ่งเป็นเว็บไซต์ที่ทางเทศกาลใช้สำหรับรับสมัครหนังสั้น อ่านวิธีการส่งหนังผ่าน FilmFreeway ที่ https://www.ccclfilmfestival.com/post/how-to-submit-films-on-FilmFreeway
