Celebrate Mooroolbark Festival

Celebrate Mooroolbark is an annual community festival held in March at Red Earth Park and Mooroolbark Community Centre for all ages. Celebrate Mooroolbark’s annual short film competition this year follows the festival’s theme, ‘Red Earth Awakened’. Whether you are new to filmmaking, recording on a smartphone, or have some experience up your sleeve, everyone is welcome to participate. Entries are to be based on the theme of Red Earth Awakened; to locals, this has a direct link to the history of the Red Earth Festival in Mooroolbark, however, it is open to interpretation and can be fiction, documentary or mockumentary! Submissions will be judged and screened at the Celebrate Mooroolbark festival on Saturday the 21st of March, 2020.
