Young Filmmakers Track - Cinema Ed

Students will win $150 if their film is one of the three Grand Prize winners. Now in its fourth year, Cinema Ed’s Young Filmmakers Track, is open to high school students in the United States and around the world. All films will be juried by professional filmmakers and those selected will be screened during the SOMA Film Festival on Sunday, March 24th, 2019 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at The Woodland. "Set in the bucolic and artistically rich enclaves of Maplewood and South Orange, NJ, just thirty minutes from Manhattan, the festival has the warmth and spirit of a small town mixed with the creative force of a big city." (SOMA FF website). The first three years of the Young Filmmaker’s Track have been a huge success, as winners watched their films screen to sold out audiences before receiving award certificates. Submit your films early! Finalists will get one VIP pass per film and all members of the production team receive a free pass to the Young Filmmakers screening event.
