CinemAfrica Film Festival

CinemAfrica celebrates the most vital and current films by African and African-diaspora filmmakers through regular screenings, school cinema, illustrious guests, creative collaborations, and the best parties! CinemAfrica Film Festival is a yearly festival taking place in Stockholm, Sweden. The festival is celebrating its 23rd edition in 2021 and is the largest of its kind in the Nordic region. The festival attracts high-profile filmmakers such as Julie Dash, Souleyman Cisse, and Zina Saro Wiwa. Featuring 40-50 films over two weeks – this year, mainly online – we welcome you to submit your work to one of the best platforms for African and African diaspora creatives outside of the Continent!
