Após o sucesso de OFFCine, Inhapim Cine Festival e Festival Saindo da Gaveta, vem aí Cinemaz! O 8o festival realizado pela MAZ - ASSOCIAÇÃO ARTÍSTICA!
O projeto CINEMAZ visa dar continuidade as atividades da MAZ- ASSOCIAÇÃO ARTÍSTICA nas ações de inclusão cinematográfica em MG. O projeto realizará um FESTIVAL DE CINEMA com exibições dos filmes vencedores de Curta-metragem, Média-metragem, Documentário, Internacional, Animação, Mineiro, Longa-metragem e Menções Honrosas de forma ONLINE. O principal objetivo da mostra é contribuir ainda mais para a difusão dos filmes independentes e para a ampliação do público interessado em cinema não apenas como entretenimento, mas com olhar criterioso.
O CINEMAZ será realizado DE FORMA ONLINE respeitando a normas da OMS- Covid 19. Buscando se diferenciar por seu perfil arrojado e de qualidade, a mostra abre espaço para realizadores locais, estaduais, nacionais e internacionais concorrerem em uma Mostra de diferentes categorias. Nelas, serão exibidos filmes que lidam com diversas temáticas e processos criativos. O evento, segue a linha dos outros Festivais realizados pela MAZ, o OFFCINE (O MAIOR FESTIVAL DE CINEMA INDEPENDENTE DO PAÍS), o INHAPIM CINE FESTIVAL (O MAIOR FESTIVAL DE CINEMA DO LESTE MINEIRO) e o SAINDO DA GAVETA (O FESTIVAL QUE RESGATA FILMES QUE JÁ SAIRAM DO CIRCUITO DE FESTIVAIS). Sendo a reflexão crítica, formação de público e fruição a cultura objetivos centrais do projeto. Todas as sessões são gratuitas e abrangem públicos de diversas idades.
O FESTIVAL CINEMAZ acontecera entre os dias 20 de AGOSTO e 24 de OUTUBRO de 2021, no formato stream.
O CINEMAZ será um grande evento anual cinematográfico . A mostra possui o seu perfil afinado com o trabalho desenvolvido pela equipe do projeto e apoiadores, que visam inserir o cinema independente dentro do polo de realização audiovisual mineiro, brasileiro, internacional. Sendo a mostra um momento chave da promoção e abertura da cidade para a sétima arte, o cinema.
A mostra atrairá um público numeroso, visto que através da plataforma online, as pessoas terão acesso a encontros com os realizadores, através de debates e assistir gratuitamente aos filmes vencedores da Mostra. Trata-se de uma atividade fundamental para a formação de público, despertando o interesse por obras que não encontram espaço nos canais tradicionais de exibição. As atividades paralelas às exibições como debates também contribuem para este papel formador.
Vale ainda observar que o CINEMAZ conta, hoje, com uma equipe de excelência, formado por profissionais com experiências distintas e complementares na área do audiovisual e com atuação local, nacional e internacional. Além da atuação no próprio Festival, esta equipe possui passagens por diversos projetos de ampla relevância cinematográfica.
A cerimônia de premiação de FILME MINEIRO, CURTA-METRAGEM, MÉDIA-METRAGEM, LONGA-METRAGEM, DOCUMENTÁRIO e ANIMAÇÃO acontecerá online no dia 22 de Outubro de 2021. Os prêmios de CURTA INTERNACIONAL serão somente divulgados em nosso Instagram e por email, não fazendo parte, portanto, da cerimônia de premiação.

After the success of OFFCine, Inhapim Cine Festival and Festival Saindo da Gaveta, Cinemaz is coming! The 8th festival held by MAZ - ASSOCIAÇÃO ARTÍSTICA!
The CINEMAZ project aims to continue the activities of MAZ- ASSOCIAÇÃO ARTÍSTICA in the actions of cinematographic inclusion in Minas Gerais. The project will hold a CINEMA FESTIVAL with online screenings of the winners of Best Short Film, Best Medium-Length Film, Best Documentary, Best Animation, Best International Film, Best Minas Gerais Film, Best Feature Film and Honorable Mention winners. The main objective of the exhibition is to contribute even more to the diffusion of independent films and to the expansion of the public interest in cinema not only as entertainment, but with an insightful eye.
CINEMAZ will be held ONLINE, respecting WHO-Covid 19 standards. Seeking to differentiate itself by its bold profile and quality, the screenings opens space for local, state, national and international filmmakers to compete in an exhibition of different categories. In them, films that deal with different themes and creative processes will be shown. The event follows the line of other festivals held by MAZ: OFFCINE (the largest independent film festival in the country), INHAPIM CINE FESTIVAL (the largest film festival in the East of Minas Gerais) and SAINDO DA GAVETA (the film festival that makes room to films that have already left the festivals circuit due to its age). Critical reflection, audience formation and the enjoyment of culture are the central objectives of the project. All sessions are free and cover audiences of different ages.
The CINEMAZ FESTIVAL will take place between August 20th, 2021 and October 24th, 2021, in stream format.
CINEMAZ will be a major annual cinematographic event. The exhibition has its profile in tune with the work developed by the project's team and supporters, who aim to insert independent cinema into the Minas Gerais, Brazilian and international audiovisual production hub. The exhibition being a key moment in the promotion and opening of the 7th Art: Cinema.
The exhibition will attract a large audience, as through the online platform, people will have access to meetings with the directors, through debates and to watch the winning films of the exhibition for free. This is a fundamental activity for the formation of an audience, arousing interest in works that do not find space in traditional exhibition channels. Activities parallel to exhibitions, such as debates, also contribute to this formative role.
It is also worth noting that CINEMAZ currently has a team of excellence, made up of professionals with distinct and complementary experiences in the audiovisual area and with local, national and international performance. In addition to acting at the Festival itself, this team has worked in several projects of wide cinematographic relevance.
The awards ceremony for MINAS GERAIS FILM, SHORT FILM, MEDIUM-LENGTH FILM, FEATURE FILM, DOCUMENTARY and ANIMATION will take place online on October 22th, 2021. The INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM awards will only be announced on our Instagram page and by email, not doing so therefore, part of the awards ceremony.
