The Red Sea International Film Festival is an annual event held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, dedicated to showcasing a diverse array of films from Saudi Arabia, Africa, Asia, and the Arab world. The festival's fourth edition is scheduled to take place from December 5 to 14, 2024, at its new headquarters in the historic Al Balad district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The festival features a variety of sections, including the Red Sea: Competition, Red Sea: Shorts Competition, and New Saudi/New Cinema, providing a platform for both established and emerging filmmakers to present their work. In addition to film screenings, the festival offers masterclasses, workshops, and networking opportunities, fostering collaboration and growth within the regional and international film industries.
