Comedy Film Festival of America

The 1st Annual Comedy Film Festival of America endeavors to provide a vibrant and professional showcase for comedy filmmakers throughout the world. Comedy is certainly a challenging genre that deserves to be promoted, celebrated and rewarded. We are interested in both international and American short comedy films. The festival will also provide an award for the Best Local Short Comedy (Ohio). The chosen films will be showcased in the newly refurbished Grandview Theatre in the heart of Columbus Ohio. The festival will screen narrative comedy shorts. The panel of judges has been carefully selected from professional filmmakers and actors. It’s an opportunity focused on screening great comedy films and performances. There will be a nice bar area after the screenings where the filmmakers can mingle and discuss potential collaborations.
