The Seville European Film Festival (SEFF) is an annual event dedicated to showcasing contemporary European cinema. Held in Seville, Spain, the festival typically takes place in November, offering a platform for both emerging and established filmmakers from across Europe. The 21st edition is scheduled from November 8 to 16, 2024, featuring over 70 premieres, including national and world debuts. The festival encompasses various competitive sections, such as the Official Section, Las Nuevas Olas, and the newly introduced Rampa and Alumbramiento, highlighting emerging talent and films without distribution in Spain. In addition to film screenings, SEFF hosts retrospectives, special events, and industry activities, fostering dialogue between creators and audiences. Notably, the festival serves as a platform for announcing nominations for the European Film Academy's European Film Awards.
